Frequently asked questions
After the details of your rental request have been reviewed, our team will email you an invoice. Once it's paid, your rental will be confirmed via email. Your card information will be stored securely with our processing platform (not on our site) and will be used in the event that you need an extension or bins are returned damaged beyond use.
No, we are a HELP YOU MOVE company ;) We deliver the bins so that you can pack and move them. We then pick them up once they are empty again.
No. Our delivery and pick up windows are quite broad (between 10am and 5pm on the agreed upon dates). If we're able to narrow that window down, we certainly will and we'll notify you via email. We are happy to drop off and pick up on your front porch - no need to be home. If you want them delivered to a specific location at your home, please let us know via email after your reservation is confirmed.
That's up to you! You initially have the option of 1, 2, or 3 week. If you know you'll need longer than that, we recommend you submit a custom rental request. If you are packing or unpacking the bins and realize you need more time, you can email us directly and request an extension. Extension are granted as availability allows.
Rental bins are great for moving items that you'll be unpacking as soon as you're in your new home. This includes your kitchen dishes, pots and pans, linens and bedding, towels and bath items, clothes, shoes, toys, and so much more.
We're true Minnesotans and aren't afraid of a little snow, so we'll do our best to keep your delivery and pick up dates. However, safety is a top priority. If we need to reschedule your DELIVERY, you will be given the option to maintain the same rental duration and shift by a day or two OR we will prorate your rental term by the number of days it was shortened. If your pick up is delayed due to weather, there will be no cost to you. We will simply pick the bins up at our earliest availability.
The intention of renting bins is to make your move EASIER so we don't expect you to clean the bins. However, they do need to be empty, dry, and odor-free. Bins returned in a condition that requires replacement will incur damage or replacement fees.
Accidents happen! Per the rental agreement, damaged or broken rental items will incur a replacement fee using your card on file.
We hope this never happens (knock on wood!). We recommend you look at all rental bins when they are delivered to ensure they are in good condition. If you find a damaged item, please notify us via email immediately and we will bring a replacement as soon as possible.
Email us as soon as you make this decision and we'll determine availability. If we don't have another order waiting on your bins, we will grant the extension and charge your card on file for the extension fee. You'll recieve a confirmation email when everything is finalized. If you do NOT notify us of the extension and the bins are not availble when we arrive for pick up, your card on file be charged a $50 trip fee in addition to the extension.
Bins need to be empty and readily accessible by 10am on your pick up date. If they will not be visible from the curb (i.e. in an appartment complex office, back door, etc.), please provide this information prior to your pick up date.
We would love to help your friend as well, but they'll need their own reservation. Our rental agreement is with you and only you.
We don't recommend moving items that are going to go directly to your storage room. This includes holiday decor, important files, seasonal clothing, and anything else that you won't need for quite some time. It makes MORE work for you to unpack them from bins just to put them into another box. In addition, we don't recommend transporting cleaning supplies or chemicals in these bins. In the event of a spill or leak, the bins may be damaged and incur additional costs to you. In terms of what we don't allow to be transported in the bins... Per our rental agreement, you cannot use these bins to transport:• Hazardous materials• Liquids without proper sealing• Illegal or damaging contents
